 Welcome
to the new SKA website where you can obtain the most current
news, events,
information about one of the best Karate clubs in Singapore.
If you are new to the site and to the club, why don't you
have a browse around and come join us in training. Whether
you are a complete novice, senior, non-Karate stylist, we
welcome you to come train with us and contribute to the
knowledge of martial arts and to the club.
Remember to update your subscriptions book within the 1st week of each calendar month.
SKA is a non-profit organization where the instructors teach because of their love of Karate and on their own time. We seek your support and co-operation to pay your dues within the first week of each calendar month. Remember, it is your contributions and subscriptions that have enabled us to upkeep the Dojo, and the equipment and facilities all these years. Together we can keep the Dojo going for the next generation and beyond. |

Dear members,
The association will be conducting 3 technical seminars by overseas instructors. We would like to encourage members to participate in these events as it will help to upgrade your technical knowledge. The seminar fee for each event is $25.00 or $50.00 for the 3 events. Please confirm your participation by Thursday, 28 February 08. Details are as follows:
1. Traditional Shitoryu Karatedo Seminar
- 24 May 08 12:30pm - 3:30pm
- Conducted by Sensei K. Tomiyama, 8th dan Shitoryu Karatedo, 6th dan Gojuryu Karatedo
2. Shitoryu Grading & Kata Seminar
- Conducted by Sensei Morooka, 8th dan Shitokai, Sensei Arai, 8th dan Shitokai, Sensei Sakamoto, 8th dan Shitokai, Sensei George Tan, 7th dan Shitokai & Sensei K. Kawata, 7th dan Shitokai.
Kata Seminar (Dan grading)

Dan grading - Shodan to Godan
- 11:30am
Shitoryu Kata Seminar
